Series of portraits of the children from the 1970’s through the mid 1980’s captured in and around different areas in Japan. Viewers are not only presented with a glimpse into a period of Japan’s history so defined by it’s radical changes, but are also allowed to experience and second innocence grasped from the series of images within Suda’s “Childhood Days”. Themed around “childhood days that every grown-up has once gone through”, this collection of photographs ranges from early works to recent images includes several have never before been published in a photobook.
